Technically speaking I didn't presume or think anything about his religion, genuinely the thought never crossed my mind all I know is he looks like your common garden African.
He could be an atheist, Buddhist, Protestant or Voodoo practitioner for all you or I know.
Having had quite some extended experience with African drivers (I've spoken to many who've told me the requirement for getting their driving licence in Africa and South Africa also is to drive down an empty unused dirt track/lane for 500 yards, reverse for about 10 and turn around to pass) there is nothing unusual about this misunderstood cultural exchange of their abysmal driving, only the usual suspects are using it as an excuse to spout their vile bigotry and racism against a group they don't like and pretending they know for a fact he's a muslim, for some inexplicable reason.
After hearing of this accident why not presume it was a middle aged Indian women driver, where a crash into a static bollard is the most statistically likely result when one gets behind the wheel.
Unless you think terrorists are financed and trained at the cost of millions so that they can drive into protective impenetrable bollards harming the odd random worker class shoppers to really stick it to their "enemy".
That will really make the establishment sit up and take notice.
Your prejudiced bigotry and bias is understood due to your religious/ethnic background, but it doesn't make it right...
